Asthmatic cat- how do you handle this?

So my little man just got rushed to the emergency vet and was diagnosed with asthma after having an asthma attack.

The vet visit cost over $1,000 and now I’m starting to stress out over everything. I’ve torn through my house and tossed everything scented. But I’m honestly out of my depth on this one and I don’t know what to do.

He’s my baby and I don’t want to lose him but I’m so overwhelmed with the cost and new responsibility and I’m so scared.
