Disappointed with live sports picture quality. Too much blur/artifacts - WAY worse than my 2010 plasma tv.

80% of my TV usage is for live sports, especially American football where there is lots of green grass, varying textures, sunlight/shadowing, and bright team uniform colors.

I just got my LG OLED and I’m VERY disappointed in how underwhelming the picture quality is. I’m using an Apple TV 4K to stream NFL RedZone. The picture is not sharp, and there is artifacts around moving players and the football itself.

I’m especially disappointed because my 2010 Panasonic Viera streams crisp picture quality from my Verizon Fios cable box. You can see every blade of grass, colors pop, the scoreboard is sharp and crisp, etc.

I have spent HOURS calibrating the settings manually to adjust for color, sharpness, motion, etc - but nothing has produced the same picture quality as my plasma.

This is seriously disappointing given how much the technology should have advanced and how much I paid for the TV
