Weight loss after injury
I have meniscus tear on jan26th. I have a surgery scheduled on march 14th. I lost almost 7lbs since that injury. I usually don’t count my calories but my protein intake would be around 120+ g and calories would be around 1800. Is it because loss of muscle in my legs? I’m worried that I lost so much muscle with in a month. How long does it take to get muscle back post weight bearing. I’m 24 5’10 and bf percentage around 25 and training just my upper body from past 2 weeks since injury and doing PT
