Thinking About a Boob Job—What’s the Honest Truth? Any Regrets?
I’m scheduled for breast augmentation in several weeks. (currently an A cup) and I want to hear the raw, unfiltered truth. I know I want this—I’ve wanted it since I was 12 years old—but I don’t want to go into it blindly.
I don’t need the usual “You’ll love it, no worries!” responses. I want real experiences, including any regrets, surprises, or things you wish you knew beforehand.
For those who’ve had a boob job: • Do you regret it? If so, why? • What’s something no one tells you before surgery? • Do the implants ever feel “normal” in your body? • If you went from small to big, how did it change your movement, sleep, or workouts? • How was the pain and recovery? Was it better or worse than expected? • Did it affect your mental health in any way? (I have anxiety, so I want to prepare.) • Did people notice? Did you tell them or keep it private?
I’m paying for this out of pocket and going to a top surgeon, so I feel confident about the medical side of things. But I really want to know the full reality of having implants—long-term effects, unexpected changes, anything I might not be thinking about.
If you’ve been through it, please be brutally honest. What’s the good, the bad, and the unexpected?
