Samsung Trade-In Issue – FedEx Shows Delivered, but Samsung Says They Don’t Have It

I sent in my Galaxy S24 for a Samsung trade-in, but now I’m dealing with a major issue. FedEx tracking shows my package was delivered on March 3, 2025, to Coppell, TX, and was signed for by "DDAVIDVALENCIA." However, Samsung says they don’t have it because I used a different shipping label than the one they provided.

Looking at the tracking history, I noticed that FedEx replaced the barcode label on Feb 28 due to it being unreadable. I think this might have caused a tracking number mix-up. Samsung is now asking for a drop-off receipt from FedEx, but I don’t have one—just the tracking confirmation showing it was delivered.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? How do I get Samsung to acknowledge my trade-in when I have proof that FedEx delivered it? Any advice on next steps before they try to charge me $500?

Thanks in advance for any help!
