Pool house? Different areas? HOA? Buying a home
I’m looking to buy a home in Temecula in the next year or two. Currently rent in SD, growing family, but just don’t like the options you get for your money in SD compared to Temecula. I will miss the beach and the weather, but it looks like I’ll get a much nicer home and better schools for my money.
I notice a lot of homes have pools. I’ve never grew up with a pool. I’m wondering what your thoughts are on this? Should I avoid it? I know there will be constant maintenance but at the same time the kids will probably love it. Then again, some of these communities have their own community pool.
I’ve never explored Temecula, that’s something I’m going to spend doing these next couple of months. But can anyone give me the run down on the different areas in Temecula? I’ve heard the southern Temecula area near Pechanga is older but nice and closer drive to SD. I’ve heard sommerbend is nice but higher HOA.
Im really trying to avoid HOA/mel Roos(or at least low).
Thanks for any info! I guess I should also include my price range is in the 600-800k range. We won’t be commuting either.
