Feeling Better with a Belt, but Bloating When I Remove It—Anyone Experienced This?

I’m Male-29 years old,
Recently I've been going through a workout and diet change. I've noticed that while the rest of my body is slimming down, my stomach area is still a bit wider. The strange part is that whenever I wear a belt, my stomach feels better—no digestion issues or bloating. However, when I remove the belt, I feel bloated in the lower area of my abdomen, right where the belt would sit.
I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, and if so, what might be going on. Could it be related to weak abdominal muscles, or is there another reason why the belt seems to make me feel better?
I’m also wondering if there are any other ways to provide abdominal support or strengthen the muscles in that area to improve this issue.
