Building a PC around RTX 3060 12GB and 750W PSU with parts of 2025
I currently have a gaming PC with mixed parts differing from 2016 to 2022. I'd like to update it with the newest CPU, Motherboard and RAM that would go along with my 750W PSU and wouldn't be an overkill system for 3060 but i am so lost in options as most 3060 builds are from the time back when it was current and i didn't keep up with the new released components. I have no way of updating my GPU therefore i'm trying to get the most of it by spending the most optimum price on the new components of 2025.
I am not asking for a FULL build with case, monitor and other peripherals such as mouse keyboard etc. What i need is
- moderately new budget CPU with high old gen performance and okay thermals,
- motherboard (no need for bluetooth or wifi however bluetooth would be appreciated),
- 32GB DDR5 RAM (preferably in dual channel for compatibility concerns).
I also already have a new AIO CPU cooler and would really appreciate it if i don't have to change it and be able use it with your suggested CPU. It is be quiet silent loop 2 360mm https://www.bequiet.com/en/watercooler/2260
I'll be using the system for both 1080p, 4K and for VR gaming.
I cannot give an exact budget as everything is very high taxed and usually more expensive than other countries, but i believe $300-500 range would fairly enough for a decent brand new CPU, Mobo, RAM upgrade.
Thanks everyone in advance!
