Anyone looking for friends?

Hi, husband and I (mid 20s) moved here from Florida about a year ago, life/work has been pretty bananas but we've finally gotten settled out here and like Des Moines a lot. We dont really know anyone tho other than some extended family. I work remote and my husband is a truck driver so he's gone a lot...and I'm trying to not go stir crazy without him lol! He's quite the social butterfly but I'm kinda not, I'll go to events by myself sometimes and everyones pretty friendly but itd be cool to meet new people and drink excessively and talk shit or whatever.
