I'm wrong?

In my few hours into the multiplayer, I've been seeing two things that annoy me:

• People fighting endlessly with faster people for meaningless positions:

Yes, you're able to defend, but if the guy was going whole seconds faster than you behind, and you're 15° in the second lap, fight him for one or two turns, no more. If he passes you, let it go. You are damaging your and his race if you keep attacking him.

• People don't brake behind slow cars:

Keep a safe distance, specifically at the start and at the break points. People see slow cars ahead and don't brake, just keep going waiting for the best, crashing, and probably ruining other's races.

I'm wrong asking for this?
