Central Newfoundland

Hi everyone this is random but I’m new here I moved to lewisporte from BC and I am wondering if there are any awesome hiking trails in central NL? I’ve heard St. John’s area is amazing I’ve still never been my car is not the greatest so I’m wondering if there’s any good ones closer to me. Thanks in advance:)
